This IBM System Storage N Series Feature Code 2857-4018 500GB 7.2K SATA 3.5 inch HDD requires an available disk drive bay in an IBM Machine Type 2857-XXX, N3150, N3240, or EXN3000 expansion unit. The 2857-4018 Hard Disk Drive module is hot-swappable and can be used as a spare to replace a failed/failing drive or to expand your IBM System Storage N Series capacity.
