This IBM System Storage Feature Code 2859-4014 144GB 15K SAS 3.5 inch HDD requires an available disk drive bay in an IBM Machine Type 2859-XXX, 2862-xxx, N3300, N3400, or N3600 System. The 2859-4014 Hard Disk Drive module is hot-swappable and can be used as a spare to replace a failed/failing drive or to expand your IBM System Storage N Series capacity. Disk drives installed within these Systems must be of the same type interface, capacity, and speed.
