This HP OPTION C8R22A 2TB 6Gb 7.2K 3.5 inch LFF Dual-Port SAS MDL Self Encrypted HDD is for HP MSA 2040 / 1040 / P2000 LFF (3.5-inch) 12-bay Array Heads and Drive Enclosures. Complete with One (1) Year Advance Exchange Warranty.

NOTE: Self-Encrypted Drives (SED) are only supported on the MSA 2040 Storage array and requires Firmware version GL105 or later. All drives within the MSA 2040 Storage array must be self-encrypted drives to enable the encryption feature. SEDs can be used in a non-SED environment, but will not be encrypted unless all drives in the array are SED. Contact us if you need MSA integration assistance for Self Encryping Drives.
