Supports up to (32) Alpha 21264A CPUs running at 1.0 Ghz or (32) 21264C CPUs running at 1.2 Ghz.

| Memory |
Each CPU can address up to 8GB of memory, bringing the total amount of memory addressable by the system to 256 GB when 32 CPUs are installed. Memory should be interleaved for best performance, but HP does not require this. |
| Internal Storage |
The GS320 supports up to (28) SCSI disk drives installed in 1-2 optional expansion enclosures inside the CPU cabinet. Either (2) DEC BA356 (BA36R-xx) StorageWorks shelves can be installed (Each with 6 free disk slots) or (2) Compaq DS-SL13R-xx shelves may be installed with 14 free disk slots each. You may install 73GB 10K disk drives up to the SCSI HBA capacity limit.
