Each CPU can address up to 8GB of ECC memory, bringing the total amount of memory addressable by the system to 64GB when 8 CPUs are installed. Memory may be interleaved for optimal performance. |
| Internal Storage |
The GS160 supports up to (14) SCSI disk drives installed in 1 expansion enclosure inside the CPU cabinet. Either (1) DEC BA356 (BA36R-xx) StorageWorks shelf can be installed (with 6 free disk slots) or (1) Compaq DS-SL13R-xx shelves may be installed with 14 free disk slots. You may install 73GB 10K disk drives up to the SCSI HBA capacity limit.
