Overview

The HP SureStore E SC10 / HVD10 disk system is a high speed, low cost storage array compatible with HP RAID controllers and HBAs. Disk drives, bus control cards, and power supplies are all redundant and hot-swappable.

Both the SC10 and HVD10 enclosure accept LVD 10K and 15K U160 SCSI disk drives. (Only the bus is of the High Voltage type on the HVD10, not the disk drives.)

Up to (10) 146GB 10K U160 SCSI Disk Drives are officially supported in the SureStore E disk system, though 300GB Drives are supported as long as your RAID controller or SCSI HBA can support the capacity. (Most HP qualified controllers do.)
