Overview

The SUN StorEdge 3310 is a scalable storage solution for heterogeneous operating environments. The StorEdge 3310 can operate in JBOD (Just-a-Bunch-Of-Disks) mode or can act a stand-alone hardware RAID controller.

The StorEdge 3310 supports up to (12) 300GB 15K disk drives. The 3310 RAID controller can attach to (2) more 3310 arrays (with standard link control cards) for a total possible installation of 36 disks.

The StorEdge 3310 is a 2U rack-mount device that operates at U160 / Ultra3 SCSI speeds.
