Overview

The SUN StorEdge D240 is a 2U rack mount mass storage device for SUN 3800, 4800, 4810, and 6800 servers. The D240 offers (2) 3.5" Hot-Swap U160 SCSI Bays as well as (2) 5.25" bays for optical and tape drives.

The D240 can be operated in split bus or single bus mode, allowing for two servers to haves simultaneous or independent access to the drive resources. Up to (2) 146GB 15K disk drives can be installed.
