The rx5670 can address 96GB of RAM using 2GB DIMMs, installed in 48 memory slots. The memory type must be PC2100 DDR266A Registered ECC DIMMs.

The rx7620 accommodates (4) hot-swappable disk modules for a total internal storage capacity exceeding 500GB. Two drives attach to separate Ultra3 SCSI channels for high performance. Maximum capacity is obtained by installing (4) 146GB 10K U320 disk options (A7080A or A7081A.) High speed 15K RPM drives are supported as well.
