Overview
When adding storage or replacing disk modules in your EVA, be advised that two incompatible disk drive types were used. The older EVA 3000 / 5000, 4000 / 4100/, 6000/6100, and 8000/8100 accept disk drives in "universal" carriers while the newer EVAs (4400,6400, and 8400) accept drives in plastic slim-line carriers. The EVA P6000 series use LFF (3.5") and SFF (2.5") drives with a SAS interface and unique P6000 firmware.
