IBM x3200 M3 Type 7327, 7328 Accessories

The IBM x3200 server has been revised over three different generations (M1-M3). The latest M3 model uses different SFF disk options / FRUs than the M1-M2 generation, but LFF hot-swap and simple swap drives remain the same across all generations. The best way to determine which server you have is via the 4-digit IBM feature code on the front of your server. Certain upgrade options are common across all three generations (such as disk drives), but other features such as CPU upgrades are not common across all generations.
