Overview

The SUN Netra 1290 (Code Name Everglades, type N80) is a carrier grade server that supports up to (12) 1.5GHz UltraSPARC IV+ 64-Bit Processors. You can install up to (3) CPU / Memory boards. Each board supports two or four CPUs and 32 DIMM slots (8 banks of 4). Each CPU controls two banks. RAM is only addressable when a CPU is installed in a corresponding bank.

An on-board Ultra320 SCSI HBA attaches to the two front disk drive bays. Up to (2) 300GB 15K disk drives can be installed
