Overview
The IBM x3200 server has been revised over four different generations (M1-M3). M1-M2 share the same disk drives. The best way to determine which server you have is via the 4-digit IBM feature code on the front of your server. Certain upgrade options are common across all three generations (such as disk drives), but other features such as CPU upgrades are not common across all generations.
