Overview

The IBM x3530 server was introduced as part of IBM's M4 lineup. The best way to determine which server you have is via the 4-digit IBM feature code on the front of your server. Different generation X3530 models are based off of new Intel CPU generations, often changing sockets and Bus speeds, making memory and CPU modules between generations incompatible.
