IBM x3550 M2 Accessories

The IBM x3550 Type 7946 / 4198 (AKA M2) is the second iteration of the x3550 Series. Unlike the x3200 series, the x3550 is a dual socket server. Up to (2) Quad-Core 2.93GHz Intel Xeon CPUs can be installed addressing 128GB of PC3-10300R (Registered) memory across 16 DIMM slots.

Unlike the x3550 M1, the M2 only supports 2.5" (SFF) SAS / SATA disks. The server uses a newly designed slim "G2" tray. It is distinguished by an orange release button.
